The Doomsphere

"Behold, my loyal minion! Our new secret lair... of evil!" - Talboc

"It's a sinister and deeply unwholesome place, full of dark forebodings... plus, it appears to be staring at my boobs." - Pleasure

The Doomsphere is the headquarters and base of operations of Talboc. It is shaped like a giant sphere of interconnected, triangular metal plates, with a big window in the shape of a pentagram on its upper half (the fact that the pentagram wasn't inverted was something of a disappointment to its new owner.) The Sphere is located in a desolate, snowy landscape at an unknown location.

Layout

The interior of the Doomsphere is somewhat of an odd mix between futuristic, hi-tech areas and more pseudo-medieval/classical rooms built out of stone, the latter being more common in the lower levels of the building.

The main entrance is located at the bottom of the Sphere, in a faux-marble entryway flanked by colonnades. Through a pair of hotel-style doors with yellow glass emblazoned with the words "Doomsphere - Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here", one enters a lobby hewn from stone, illuminated by burning braziers and decorated by giant inverted pentagrams. In the center of the lobby is a massive stone desk with a statue of a demon behind it.

The Sphere contains luxurious living quarters, including a well-stocked executive washroom with a large pool, and a giant walk-in closet filled with evil costuming and accessories.

There is a dungeon in the lowest portion of the Sphere. While originally intended as a dungeon in the more traditional sense, Pleasure had it re-made into a "dungeon" containing lube racks, a massive dildo collection and a variety of sexual devices and machines. A tentacle monster (which Pleasure "tamed" shortly after moving in) lives within a sealed chamber.

History

The Doomsphere was originally built by supervillain of unknown identity who was tired of slumming around in abandoned missile silos, unused subway tunnels and other second-hand bases, and decided to build for himself the ultimate villain's headquarters. Hiring architects and contractors, engineers and construction teams and technical experts, he spared no expense for the material, technology or craftsmanship. When the Sphere was finally finished, and it was time to pay for the work, he decided to acquire the funds by robbing the main branch of the Commodore City Bank.

Unfortunately for him, it turned out that the bank was the place where all the local superheroes had their accounts, and he happened to attack right in the middle of the lunchtime rush.

Talboc acquired it on E-Bay some time after, where it was the most affordable option that still had a whole roof, and moved in with his Foozle servant Pleasure.
