I'm not too sure about the anal stuff that's been added. The original intent here was that this would be sort of the Delos version of rock/paper/scissors - something quick and simple that could be performed quickly. That's starting to get a little too intense for "quick and simple."

The scissoring stuff is okay. But the anal stuff may need a rethink.

		+	I can see your point, but there's a few things to keep in mind here.

		+	First, back in Cobalt #2, when Talboc challenges Cobalt to a duel and Cobalt picks the Delosian Duelling method, the two meet up on the following day in a love hotel, since the rules specify that they have to engage in the duel on neutral ground. They duke it out in the center of a massive chamber, and have their Foozles as assistants tasked with lubing them up. This doesn't exactly strike me as a quick and simple "rock/paper/scissors"-style game. It took quite a bit of time to set up and perform properly.

		+	Also, throughout this article, Delos Dueling is often referred to as a "sport" and a "competition"; there's even mention of Olympic-level play. In particular, the Olympic Ring/Team Play, requires a sizeable group, two teams and a score system that even keeps track of the number of strokes a player receives (which I think would require some kind of judge as I doubt the contestants would be in a state of mind to keep track of the number of points they all have). This seems like a pretty advanced set-up that is meant to be featured in official competitions and leagues that involve prizes and spectators, not just a simple, informal way to solve minor issues. Compared to that, it doesn't seem like the Ass-to-Ass version would be too involved to be featured in certain competitions.

		+	The bottom line is, DD can be many things. It can be a naughty game between friends, it can be a quick way to solve disputes using the simpler versions, and there are more intricate versions primarily meant to be used in sports events and official competitions. The Ass-to-Ass variant, or the Olympic Ring for that matter, might not be suitable for quick rock/paper/scissors scenarios - well, they probably wouldn't be used in such scenarios. They're meant for grander occasions that require a bit more set-up.
