A sign welcoming visitors to Pleasure Valley's public Nudist Resort

Pleasure Valley is a forested valley resting between the twin mountains of Ecstasy Peak and Pubic Mound.

It serves as a popular tourist location, with a number of public amenities. The entire valley is protected parkland, under the conservatorship of Boink's Department Of Agriculture, and the entire region is clothing restricted.

Points Of Interest

Mandatory Nudity Is Enforced

While the planet Boink itself is clothing optional, (as stated on the orbital welcome signs) Pleasure Valley is entirely clothing restricted, meaning that nudity is required for entry, and a series of roadblocks and ranger stations with storage lockers ring the valley to enforce that rule. This is owing to the large number of Honeysuckle vines which grow natively in the region. Accessories such as hats, capes, jewelry are permitted, as they are considered non-restrictive, but actual clothing items such as pants, shirts dresses, and undergarments are not.

Mineral Springs

Pleasure Valley is home to a number of effervescent mineral springs, whose sparkling waters can be enjoyed both for drinking and for bathing in.

There are numerous locations where one can sample the waters directly from the source, upstream from where the waters eventually pour into natural basins forming public bathing areas, where one may relax while submerged in the bubbling waters.

The spring water of Pleasure Valley originates from two sources. "Deep-seated waters" of Ecstasy Peak and Subtle Pass provide one source of mineral water. Water below the surface is run through cavernous drainage systems called karst aquifers. Limestone in the water dissolves and resulting carbonic acid, or carbon dioxide, make the water "effervescent". The water rises to the surface naturally. This process is an artesian process where as water rises through layers of rock it picks up minerals and soda, or sodium bicarbonate. Some of the spring water also comes from "surface" waters from watershed basins. Each spring has a different mineral content and because of that, a different taste.

Water purity and cleanliness is carefully monitored and maintained by an on-site scientific team to insure that the waters remain uncontaminated by anything which might make them dangerous to consume.

=Nudist Resort

Owing to the area's enforced nudity, and with the forested location forming a natural backdrop for such, the Boink Department Of Agriculture operates a national Nudist Resort in the valley, featuring nature trails, access to the mineral springs and a public bathing area, a picnic area, a campground and swimming pools. A public sauna, hot tubs, and sexual recreation areas are also maintained and operated. There are also rental cabins which may be reserved by contacting the department's local headquarters via the public infonet.

Redwood Trees and Nickname

Pleasure valley is home to one of the largest redwood forests on Boink, and because of this the region has picked up the nickname of "Boink's Endor." This appellation is given further credence owing to the valley's clothing restrictions, which result in local fashion style which is visibly Ewok-like. To add to this, some sections of the Nudist Resort which consist of platforms, ramps and walkway bridges, have been compared to the Ewok village.
